What is the MOST Effective Way to Evaluate Teachers?

There are different views on the most effective way to evaluate teachers. First, we need to be very clear about the purpose of teacher evaluations. It is about how to improve teachers’ teaching. In my opinion, there is no most effective way to assess teaching because, each student has different expectations for teachers. It is certainly necessary to assess teachers’ teaching. However, we need to reform the current teaching assessment so that the assessment itself is of real value and not just a formality. Each country has its own means of assessing teaching and learning. This means that different countries should learn from each other. This is an issue that is sorely lacking. At the same time, there is a lack of discussion on assessment in education at the moment. It is necessary to include students, parents, teachers, administrators, etc. in the reform of the teaching assessment.
