Parenting is So Important to Educational Success
As a parent, I feel deeply about the importance of parenting. We live in a society where parenting is put in a corner, that doesn’t mean we don’t know the value of parenting, but most of the time we are too busy getting things done to think about how to parent effectively. I believe that parents need to learn how to raise their children to be responsible, happier, global citizens. When they grow up, not only will they not be a problem for society, but they will make a sustainable contribution. If we ignore the role of parents, it will be difficult to achieve educational success. We need to do something to make it happen.
Many of today’s social problems are closely related to the lack of family education. Most of us blame the individual and ignore the root cause of the problem, i.e., the problems of parenting. Every individual begins with home education before entering the formal education system. Research studies have shown that character and moral values are formed earlier than formal education. Therefore, if parents lack proper education for their children, especially in the area of moral values, there are many pitfalls and problems when they enter formal schooling. And many moral problems are very difficult to solve through systematic education. This is not to say that schooling cannot change a person’s morals and values, but the sooner the better. When a person is older than 6 years old, some habits, thoughts and moral values are very difficult to change. However, in reality, many parents do not know how to educate their children and even have the opposite effect. Therefore, it is very necessary to make the society aware of the importance of parenting. And how to make parents know how to educate properly is something that needs to be explored in a sustainable way by the whole society.
